October 31 was the last entry in the 1965 journal.  I will miss making the blog entries and sharing Mom's words. Even when the entry was only a short sentence, while I read and typed it, I heard it being said in her voice. I love you Mom.

Ron and I went out to Elks to celebrate 12 years anniversary. 
Todd stayed all night at Jack Raridon's and Jill stayed at Carolyn's.

Joni & Jill had a Halloween party tonite.  Had 6 other girls.  Then Joni went to a slumber party at Sherry Meilke's.

Ron's folks got home from California trip today.

Tonite we went to Hotel Savery for Management Club Ladies night.
Very tired.

Tonite we went to Oskaloosa to Bowie's for dinner and to see Wishmeier's.  Had a good time.

Wishmeier's called and they were at the stadium.  We went out - they were in Oskaloosa for funeral.  Met their friends, Helen and Ken Bowie.  They stopped by for a drink.

Todd started taking piano lessons today from Mrs. Parsons. 
Joni joined 4-H today.

Ron's folks left today for trip to California.

Joe & Faye came and brought supper.  Ron's folks, Mary Ann and Barron and my folks came.

Charlie retired from Maytag's today after 40 years.

Ron came home from hospital this morning.

Went to Dr. Onnen today and he put Ron in hospital.

Ron's back is not any better.

Took Ron to Dr. Wiertz in Des Moines. Thought it was a muscle spasm.

Joe & Faye came in the afternoon from Iowa City and stayed until about 10.
