Tonite we all rode bikes over to Mary Ann's and had hamburgers.

Worked today. Cleaned basement and patio. Ron has painted the table & chairs and today put on table top.

Today went to Memorial services at Union Chapel, then to Mom and Zenas' for family picnic.

Cards played Phillies. Won 6-5. Were behind the first 3 innings. Didn't look too good. Very cold, may frost tonite. Covered tomato & pepper plants.

Short ball practice. Ron & Todd planted 2nd bunch of sweet corn and pumpkin seeds tonite.
Jana's butt is better.

Went to Cub Scout Carnival at Shopping Center tonite. Took Jana out - first time all week.

Todd had practice ball game with Hawks. Won 6-0.
Most of the stuff planted in garden is up by now.
Jill's front tooth she lost about 2 finally coming down.

Jana pretty uncomfortable but good considering.
Joni came home from school broken out with measles & disappointed because tomorrow is Grade School Track Meet.
Todd mowed yard tonite.

Jana got up this morning broken out with measles (3 day).
Went to program at school that Jill's class had about Hawaii.
Jana burned her butt on the stove tonight about 5:30. It's pretty bad.

Ernie called this morning and asked us to come down. On the way we went through Knoxville & saw work on the dam. Spent afternoon & evening with Phil and Ernie.

Todd had practice game this morning. Won 15-7. Edith finished our new drapes & we hung them.
Joe & Faye came and they, Ron, Todd, Joni and Scott went to Rock Creek fishing.

Got material for drapes for the family room today - Orange burlap from Sears - about $17.

Tonight Ron and Todd planted lettuce, turnips, radishes, carrots, 2 rows beans, 2 rows peas. Also put out 6 tomato plants (Big Boys).

Went to doctor today for check-up.
Ball practice tonite then Ron planted the first of our sweet corn.

Mother"s Day. Got our Mother's slips. Went to Mary Ann's and had hamburgers. Nice day. I had a headache. Ron planted geraniums in the planter.

Joe & Faye came. We painted family room and hall Plantation White and Todd's room Firebrush.

Ball practice tonite. Mowed yard today - first time this year. Got our garden roto-tilled today for $6.00 - space for corn too.
Went to club at Elizabeth's tonite. Had surprise baby shower for Marilyn Walker.

Todd pretty covered,. Cooked chicken out. Joe & Faye stopped by as they were coming from Iowa City.
Baseball try-outs and teams picked today.
